Guinness Storehouse is arguably one of Dublin’s most iconic attractions and is hugely popular with visitors to the capital. Guinness® is synonymous with Ireland so when you're in Dublin, you can't leave without a trip to Guinness Storehouse®. Learn through the seven-storey experience how the world-famous drink is made and then sample it for yourself at the end in the panoramic Gravity Bar.
Please note: Closed 14 April
- Seven-story experience
- Pint glass atrium
- Gravity Bar
Did you know
- A ‘perfect’ pour of Guinness should take 119.5 seconds at a 45 degree angle
- Over 10 million glasses of Guinness are sold every day around the world
- Guinness was originally called Porter and then Stout Porter, before its name changed in the 18th century
Things to see:
Stand at the very bottom of the world’s largest pint glass, the atrium of the Guinness Brewery experience. Need some perspective on how big it really is? If the glass atrium was filled, it would hold 14.3 million pints of Guinness! The Atrium takes visitors through seven storeys of Guinness heritage and history; from production and the ingredients, recipe and craft of brewing; to transportation and distribution; as well as advertising and sponsorship.
End on a high, literally, at Gravity Bar, the Guinness Storehouse’s very own bar – and an experience in itself. At the seventh story, Gravity Bar boasts 360° panoramic views over Dublin and you can sit back and enjoy the vista and a complimentary pint of the dark stuff, too. Sláinte!
Don't leave without exploring the vast souvenir shop to take something back home with you as a memento of your amazing Guinness experience, from pint glasses, to mugs; t-shirts and rugby balls - there are a wide range of options for presents or if you fancy something for yourself.
1 adult (parent or guardian) for every 4 juniors (under 18 years).
How to get there:
- Bus: 51B and 78A (from Aston Quay) and 123 (from O'Connell Street)
