The opening of Roe and Co Distillery marks the return of Irish Whiskey production in the Liberties district. The new distillery repurposes the iconic Guinness Power House and produces double and triple-distilled single malt on three copper pot stills. 

Situated in the heart of Dublin 8, Roe & Co distillery tour combines fun and flavour. Guests clock in and out, just as contemporary workers would have before embarking on a guided tour through the production facility. Did you know

  • The distillery is named after famed whiskey distiller, George Roe, who contributed to whiskey’s golden era during the 19th century.

  • The original Roe and Co distillery was Ireland’s largest exporter of whiskey, but it closed down in 1926. All that remains are the Windmill Tower and a pear tree that continues to flower to this day. Both can be viewed from St. James’s Gate Guinness Brewery.

Tours run every hour from Sunday - Thursday.

Tours run every half hour from Friday - Saturday.
