Dublin Zoo is Ireland’s No. 1 family visitor attraction. Visitors can explore the African Plains, which has doubled the size of the Zoo and is home to giraffes, zebras, hippos, rhinos, cheetahs, lions and chimpanzees. October-February:

Monday-Saturday: 9:30am-dusk
Sunday: 10:30am-dusk

Last admission is one hour before closing.

By train: Dart feeder bus No. 90 from Connolly and Tara Street DART stations
